Why We've Introduced Age Verification

At The Windowclean Centre, we're committed to responsible retailing. In line with UK regulations, we've introduced age verification on a number of products in our range — specifically those that include metal scraper blades and acid-based cleaning solutions.

These products are powerful tools designed for professional use, and under UK law, certain bladed articles and corrosive substances may only be sold to customers aged 18 and over.

Which Products Are Affected?

Age verification is now required when purchasing:

• Metal blade scrapers — including all scrapers and replacement blades made from stainless steel, carbon steel, or other metal alloys
• Window cleaning kits that include a metal-bladed scraper
• Acid-based cleaning products — including Crystal Clear 550

What Does This Mean for You?

When you wish to add one of these products to your basket, you'll be asked to confirm that you are aged 18 or over by adding your date of birth. This is a quick, simple step and is there to ensure we're meeting our legal obligations as a responsible retailer.
